JOB DESCRIPTION

The Video Editor at Muslim Hands ISU Islamabad will be responsible for producing high-quality donor feedback videos, beneficiary stories, and field impact content. This is a dual-role position combining both editing and fieldwork the candidate must be willing to travel to project locations across Pakistan to film interviews and capture authentic impact footage. Primary focus will be on creating engaging, well-structured donor videos that clearly showcase project outcomes. Additional responsibilities include social media video content, campaign support, and maintaining a structured video archive. This is an ideal role for a creative professional who is passionate about social impact storytelling.

 

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA

✔ Required Qualification

  • Relevant degree or diploma in Media, Film Production, Communications, or related field
  • Portfolio showcasing relevant video work especially interviews and field content is mandatory

✔ Required Skills & Experience

  • Proven experience in video editing and filming
  • Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro (After Effects is a plus)
  • Strong understanding of storytelling especially for real-life impact content
  • Ability to film interviews and capture clear audio in field conditions
  • Good organizational and time management skills
  • Willingness and ability to travel regularly for fieldwork

✔ Preferred Experience

  • Experience working in NGOs, charities, or social impact storytelling
  • Experience creating donor or impact-focused content
  • Ability to create simple subtitles and clean minimal edits

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Primary Donor Feedback Videos:

  • ✔ Edit and produce high-quality feedback videos for major donors
  • ✔ Structure and present beneficiary stories in a clear and engaging way
  • ✔ Ensure videos are well-paced and aligned with donor expectations
  • ✔ Add subtitles, basic graphics, and sound to enhance storytelling
  • ✔ Deliver all videos on time meeting deadlines

Filming & Field Work:

  • ✔ Travel to project locations to capture beneficiary feedback and footage
  • ✔ Conduct and film interviews with beneficiaries and field teams
  • ✔ Ensure high-quality video and audio recording in various environments

Additional Video Support:

  • ✔ Occasionally create content for social media and campaigns
  • ✔ Adapt field footage into short-form content
  • ✔ Organize and manage video files and maintain structured archive
